Robert is an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature in Uganda and an arbitrator with training from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
His experience and expertise in legal practice is rich in both breadth and depth. Robert has an impeccable record as an excellent litigation lawyer handling high value and strategic litigation disputes.
Robert has specialized knowledge in modern financial markets, tax practice and emerging technologies. He advises our clients on complex, multi-sectoral transactions offering pragmatic and commercially focused and astute perspectives. He has advised on and participated in national policy formulation and progressive law reform projects.
Robert also teaches law at Makerere University School of Law, is the Convener of the Centre for Law and Emerging Technologies (CLET) and heads the Arbitration Law cluster of the Uganda Law Society.
